Welcome to LEAPS!
The Leadership Education Association of the Puget Sound (LEAPS) was formed to promote Thomas Jefferson Education in our local area. We are building a TJED community in Western Washington. LEAPS is an umbrella group for several small, local, TJED groups. We provide and promote classes and activities that teach Thomas Jefferson Education principles for learners of all ages.
Joining our community is a simple as coming to a seminar, workshop, class, field trip or bookclub. There are no dues, no registration, and no statement to sign in order to join the community, (individual classes and activities may have registration forms and fees.) If you are interested in learning about and living any of the principles of TJED, we'd love to have you in our community! These principles are described in A Thomas Jefferson Education by Oliver Van DeMille and Leadership Education by Oliver and Rachel DeMille.
